Talking numbers is a language that has always made sense to Nicolette. Her joy comes from demystifying money-speak to make these topics accessible and approachable for everyone.

Trained as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst, she rose to head up Financial Planning & Performance at listed retailer, Woolworths Holdings Ltd. She thrived turning the numbers into actionable insights before deciding to shift her analytical focus to the stock market. Nicolette worked as an equity analyst covering globally listed stocks across consumer, financial and healthcare sectors for the next decade.

Her passion project was unpacking the fear around money matters and investing, specifically for women. She ran online training and education to enable people to make informed money decisions and get invested.

A move from her native South Africa to Australia and a new opportunity to use her financial savvy for the good. She spent 7 years as the Treasurer of a government funded non-profit offering micro loans to people living on a low income. Over that period, the loan book doubled to A$5 million. The positive impact of access to money when you need it most is the idea that now underpins Entcpay.

To turn her mind off at the end of the day, Nicolette hits her yoga mat or studies the stars.
